through lived and learned experience, nayan has built a propietary process that helps you reach your full potential

our programs offer positive momentum in your life through the following modalities:

MINDFUL-BASED STRESS REDUCTION (MBSR)

Developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.

It aims to help manage stress, in addition to many other conditions, including chronic pain, anxiety and panic, job or family stress and high blood pressure.

The Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction program gifts a framework of living awareness many never know exists, both internally and externally.

It pilots the lens I view life through.

THE POLYVAGAL THEORY

Describes the physiological and psychological states the role of the vagus nerve plays in emotional regulation, social connection and fear response.

Can lead to a deeper sense of self-compassion, self-acceptance, and an enhanced interpersonal communication by reducing emotional reactivity and promoting effective expression.

Provides a pathway to befriend and develop a trusting relationship between what is happening in the body and what is happening in the mind; something I never knew was possible.

PEER SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL

A supportive relationship between people who have a lived experience in common, with training to support those who struggle with what life has handed them.

Offering expertise that professional training cannot replicate, and is now recognized as an evidence-based practice.

I feel grateful to be a part of this noble community that allows me to support the journey of others through the sharing of my personal experiences, with compassion and structure.

DIALECTICAL BEHAVIOUR THERAPY (DBT)

An applied therapy focusing on helping to create an adaptive life.

It challenges unhelpful thought patterns, adding elements like mindfulness, acceptance and distress tolerance, and interpersonal skills to help cope with life’s challenges.

Has allowed me to gain the invaluable tool of emotional regulation.  It is also how I first was introduced to mindfulness.

COGNITIVE PROCESSING THERAPY (CPT)

A type of behavioural therapy based on how to modify and challenge unhelpful beliefs related to trauma endured.

Is effective in reducing symptoms of post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) that may have developed after experiencing a variety of traumatic events.

Has given me the ability to acknowledge that by changing my thoughts, I can change how I feel, which allows me the gift of a better quality of life.
